Esthetics Foundations Program

(EF)

 

The Esthetics Foundations Program was reviewed and approved by the Registrar of the  of the Ministry of Post Secondary Education and Future Skills in British Columbia, Canada.

Course Description:

At the end of the program, students will have demonstrated the theoretical knowledge and practice area skills to be competent esthetic professionals. The program will allow students to gain theoretical and practical knowledge in Esthetics. Upon completion, graduates can practice as Estheticians. They will be able to:

  • Outline general trade practices for the industry.
  • Demonstrate professional grooming and proper hygienic and sanitation procedures. 
  • Demonstrate effective client communication and professionalism. 
  • Explain and outline procedures related to infection control and its importance. 
  • Explain Chemistry and Chemical Safety. 
  • Explain key principles related to electricity and electrical safety.
  • Outline what is meant by the “Beauty Business.â€Â 
  • Students will also demonstrate effective skills to industry standards in nail technology (manicure and pedicure), waxing, make-up foundations, and waxing.

  • Course 3- Nail Technology- Manicure
  • Course 4- Nail Technology- Pedicure
  • Course 5- Makeup Foundations
  • Course 6- Facial Therapy
